Situated in an idyllic location set within 12 acres, just 2 miles from Falmouth, Argal Home Farm, which is the owner's home, is approached via a private drive. The farm sits across the courtyard from the two holiday cottages, the Old Granary and Little Orchard.

The cottages at Argal Home Farm provide ideal locations for touring Cornwall and giving you access to attractions which would suit children and adults alike, including: Falmouth Marina, the National Seal Sanctuary, Lands End, Flambards Theme Park and the Tate Gallery at St Ives.

The Eden Project is a must, to learn what nature provides to us. There are numerous National Trust properties and gardens and many miles of magnificent coastline to wander and explore. Also from your front door you can enjoy some pleasant walks to the nearby lake, and in the evenings enjoy a BBQ in the garden or visit one of the many local family pubs serving good food. The nearest village pub and shop are approx 1 mile away.

Argal Cottages are a 3-minute walk from Argal Lake, which is renowned for its coarse fishing, and offers a childrens' play area. Car parking payment is by way of an honesty box at the lake. The lake runs between Mawnan Smith, the gateway to the glorious Helford River and Mabe on the other side of the lake, with its lovely granite church

Falmouth town, Gyllyngvase Beach and Pendennis Castle are just 3 miles to the east. The beaches of Maenporth and Swanpool are 2 miles to the south.

There are a number of delightful gardens nearby. Trebah, Glendurgan and Carwinion are all situated in the nearby village of Mawnan Smith, only just over a mile away, as is the jungle-style Penjerrick Garden, between Mawnan Smith and Budock Water.
